We are Team Greece Roller Derby, a Greek and Greek diaspora team looking forward to the 2025 Roller Derby World Cup taking place between 3rd & 6th July in Innsbruck, Austria.

Roller derby, a fast paced and exhilarating sport, embodies the spirit of athleticism, teamwork, and empowerment. As we lace up our skates and hit the track, we become part of a global community united by our love for the game.

Team Greece, a shining example of spirit and determination, celebrating all dimensions of our heritage. Bringing together skaters born in Greece and the Greek diaspora, our team reflects the rich tapestry of our culture and history. Together, we embrace our shared identity, while exploring and redefining what it means to be a Greek skater. Our journey is marked by a spirit of determination and courage against all odds and embodies the spirit of "χαλεπὰ τὰ καλά". With unwavering resolve and in true Spartan spirit, we meet every challenge head-on, pushing our limits, and rising stronger each time.

As we gear up for our third appearance at the Roller Derby World Cup, we are proud to be part of this dynamic and ever-expanding community.

It’s an incredible honour to represent Greece at the Roller Derby World Cup, but the costs associated with travel, accommodations, and entry fees are significant, and we simply can’t do it without your support. As a self-funded team, we rely on the generosity of our friends, family, and fans to make this dream a reality.

How Will Your Donation Help?

Flights and Travel: We need to travel to the World Cup venue and back, and international flights can get expensive. We hope to make the journey smoothly, without logistical concerns, so we can focus on competing at our best.

Accommodation & Meals: Once we arrive, we need to cover lodging and food for our athletes. Every contribution ensures our team stays well-rested, nourished, and ready to perform.

Equipment and Uniforms: Roller derby requires specialised equipment, and to represent Greece with pride. Your support will help the team look and feel the part.

Entry Fees & Other Costs: Participating in a global competition involves various expenses, from registration fees to medical coverage to training facilities. Your donation will help cover these costs so we can focus on what matters most—the game itself.
