Let’s Get Tyler Carroll to National Championships
Donation protected
Hi! It’s Tyler Carroll and I’m reaching out to family and friends to raise funds to compete at the USATF Junior Olympic National Championship meet in Sacramento, CA July 25th to the 31st.
As many of you know, I just finished my Junior year and track season back in May. It was a great season (a few highlights-broke the school 110 Hurdle record, CNTC Champion 110 Hurdles and 300 Hurdles runner up, All Conference 110 Hurdles, and State Class B 3rd 110 Hurdles) and I really just wanted to keep competing. My coach suggested running USATF Junior Olympics over the summer.
I competed at the state meet in June placing 1st in the 110H and 3rd in the 100 and 400 hurdles and advancing to Regionals in all three events. Last weekend I competed in the six state Regional meet in Minnesota, placing 1st in the 110H and 2nd in the 400H. But more importantly, I qualified in both events for the USATF JO National Championship meet, where I’ll get to compete against some of the best hurdlers in the country!
Because I’m competing unattached, without the assistance or resources of a track club, it’s up to me and my family to cover all expenses for the meet (airfare, hotel, meals, ect). With just a two week window between qualifying and the national meet, we don’t have much time to do fundraising to help with expenses.
If you would consider making a donation to help get me to the national meet, it would mean so much to me. I’m excited for the opportunity to compete at a national level and continue my growth as an athlete. And I’m even more excited about sharing these experiences and my love for the sport of track and field with the younger athletes in my community, and hopefully spark in them that same love for the sport while encouraging them to set big goals and work hard to achieve them!
Thank you for all the love and support!
