Let’s Get Wonder’s Play Button Back!!

Hello!!

My name is Lux, some of y’all may know me as Wonder’s (HiI’mWonder/Wonderstruck Guy) boyfriend. I wanted to make this GoFundMe on his behalf in light of everything.

As I'm sure many of you know by now, Wonder was recently a part of some online discourse and during this, it became known that he was prevented from getting back personal belongings during a vehicle dispute and repossession.

Wonder has said he's tried to get these items back since this incident but has been ignored, and now to his knowledge his belongings have been tossed in the garbage.

I’ve lived with Wonder for the past 6 months so I’ve seen first hand how hurt he is by the loss of his things, if it was just socks or whatever I'm sure he could move on. But in addition to his camera equipment and other items something really special to him was thrown out: his YouTube playbutton plaque he earned in recognition for surpassing 100k subscribers on his channel Wonderstruck Guy.

I'm sure you can understand how devastating this was to learn, especially since he’s been doing YouTube since he was 10 years old.

Ever since I heard about him losing his play button I wanted to replace it, I even thought of hand making one out of cardboard or something goofy for his birthday-but I was worried that would come across as rubbing salt in the wound.

Regardless, this does not mean all hope is lost! If a creator can afford to, a replacement creator award can be bought from YouTube!

Since this is an unexpected cost, I wanted to set up a GoFundMe on behalf of Wonder to cover the plaque replacement costs, which is why the goal is set at $300 USD, but if we reach that and you feel generous, even if it's just a couple bucks, I bet we could replace most of his possessions he doesn't have hope of seeing again!

Overall, I just want him to be happy and know he’s allowed to get his things back even if they’re not the original items. Nothing will replace the memories he had with certain items lost but I figure it’s worth a shot.
