Let’s give Moira Millán a voice
Moira Millán is a Mapuche activist from Argentina. She is one of the leaders of the indigenous ancestral lands recovery movement -particularly those occupied by the Benetton Group. She participates in the feminist movement Ni una menos, denouncing the femicide of indigenous women.
She is the founder and coordinator of the Movimiento de Mujeres Indígenas por el Buen Vivir (Indigenous Women's Movement for Good Living), which organises visibility campaigns and calls for justice for violations committed against indigenous peoples. Due to her work in defence of human rights, Moira Millán has been the target of death threats, attacks and judicial harassment.
In order for Moira to attend online talks she must travel to her nearest town, it’s expensive and dangerous. Help us raise sufficient funds for her to participate in an exclusive online event where she will be speaking about her struggle.
