Let’s give Paul a Christmas to remember

I’m Bob, and my very best friend is Paul. We met after Mass at church 4 years ago. Since then he has become incarcerated in Massachusetts. Paul is a very gentle, kind, religious, caring, sensitive person with a great sense of humor. He reads A LOT, and loves movies and sports.

Within the prison system you have to provide your own toiletries, and buy your own shoes/clothes/tv etc if you want anything. There is a canteen that carries all these things plus food items. I always like to make sure Paul can treat himself to snacks like candy bars or pop tarts once in awhile.

Living in Boston I was able to visit him weekly but two months ago we moved to Denver so I can only visit him every other month when I fly out.

I am raising funds to put into Paul’s canteen account. Nothing can be sent to him (books, snacks, shave cream). He has to purchase all these items himself. Whereas some parishioners contributed to his Christmas gift last year, now I’m too distant to coordinate any such effort. So I’m hoping this request will touch you and you might feel like helping.

I just want Paul to have a blessed Christmas and know others care about him. Please pray for him. Thank you.
