Let's give Sky a wonderful send off!

Hi, my name is Ron Spriggs and I'm raising funds to help Luke Lewis and his six children Aiden, Curtis, Breanna, Samuel, Haylea-Jade, and Charlotte to cope financially following the recent passing of their wife and mum, Sky, aged 38 years.

I once described the Lewis family as the epitome of all good things in Rugby League. The entire family were always helping out at games, training and attending committee meetings. Sky and Luke remain firmly entrenched in my memory for the time and effort they put into Wingham Junior Rugby League Club, Group 3 Junior League and Wingham Touch Football Association and their dedication in raising their own children who are rapidly growing into very respected and productive members of our community, just like mum and dad.

Unfortunately, Sky was diagnosed with breast cancer over 11 years ago winning the first rounds against this insidious disease. But it kept coming back and each time Sky would pick herself up and continue the fight while always being supported by Luke and their children until her passing on Friday 21st March, 2025.

Like most people who knew Sky I feel very privileged to have known her, she never took a backward step nor walked away from a fight and yet, despite her illness , always kept her dignity and radiated so much love and care for those around her.

Please help us to raise the funds so that we can give this wonderful lady the send off she so richly deserves.
