Help Ami pay rent and buy groceries

Hi all,

My neighbor Ami is a kind and caring person, and she's struggling in life simply because she's trans. She faces daily hurdles that most people will never be familiar with, only for being who she is. It's been hard for her to even feed herself since job security is a luxury she doesn't have. Here is her story in her own words:

"I’m born and raised in nyc. I came out at 17 and became homeless at 18 when I started HRT. I’ve been transitioning since then. My family comes from Egypt, Libya and places where trans people are mutilated and targeted. Maintaining a quality job has been extremely difficult because I’m a 6’3 trans person whose voice doesn’t even remotely pass. My arm and tailbone are fucked from falling a flight of stairs, which also broke my phone. I’m frustrated at how much it’s setting looking for work back."

Please show Ami she is not alone and she has a community looking out for her. I'm starting at $3,000 for one month's rent, some groceries and a new second hand phone, but I'd love to go past that goal to give her more stability.
