Lets help baby Blythe with her rare heart defect
Donation protected
Hi friends and family, Sandra and Clayton here. Our good friends Marty and Jordan Krammer are currently up at Doernbecher's hospital with their 3 month old baby girl Blythe. She was flown up to Portland on February 13th. They recently found out that she has a rare heart defect called ALCAPA. Here is what they have shared on the progress. Blythe underwent open heart surgery on Thursday February 15th and is currently having her chest closed. Her heart function is extremely diminished from the damage caused by the condition. Over time it should heal back to normal. However she has a long road ahead of her and so many moving parts to make sure she gets back to her smiley self.
We are asking for fast healing thoughts and prayers from any and everyone who will do so.
What is ALCPA: Anomalous left coronary artery from the pulmonary artery (ALCAPA) is a congenital (present at birth) heart defect in which the left coronary artery arises abnormally from the pulmonary artery. Normally, the left and right coronary arteries arise from the aorta and supply blood with oxygen to the heart.
Please keep the Krammer family in your thoughts and prayers. They are not asking for this gofundme, but being away from home and the added expenses they will be occurring helps. But most of all the health of their baby girl is most important so just a prayer is thankful!
Thanks for taking the time to read this and sharing this gofundme. As of today February 26th she still have quite a road of recovery but for the 1st time she showed her family her happy smile! She is a little fighter!
