Let’s help Brandon to his mulching machine.

In the early hours of April 11, 2023, my good friend, 32 yr old Brandon Unruh,suffered an acute stroke. The stroke affected the right side of his body(tingling and loss of feeling, and loss of movement in his hand, arm, leg, foot), also his balance, sporadic memory loss. He says with little feeling on right side it feels like he’s only half on a chair when he sits down. With 2 hours of therapy three times a week, things have been slowly improving. Not quite a month later, he has not gained enough strength and balance yet to put in a full day's work. (He can get dressed tho by himself now.)  His feeling has not come back like his strength on his right side. It is hard for him to write or do normal stuff with his right hand that we do daily without thinking. It’s hard to control something if you can’t feel it. (Skidsteer operated forestry mulching is his occupation).  Think about that. 

 As a result of complications with his diabetes, he recently suffered an internal eye bleed. This creates vision loss which further complicates the balance issue and hinders the ability to work.
 There is also past medical debt plus the normal living expenses. With the limited hours to work since there is therapy three times a week, and his physical condition, the financial burden is heavy.
