Let’s help Braydo walk again!!!

Hi everyone I’m Alayna Scott, Bradens Mum. You may know him from The Sharks or All Port Smash Repairs, Qube or just because he’s Braydo.

On Australia Day while camping at Valla Beach with family and friends Braden had that accident that none of us would ever want to happen. He dove into swallow water and hit the sandbar below.

Has broken ALL 7 vertebrae in his neck and is currently ventilated at PA Hospital in Brisbane. We have been with Braden for a few days but have had to return home (Port Macquarie) for our younger children but obviously need to return north asap. Apart from the travelling costs between brissy and port we will need accommodation near the hospital and unsure for how long. Braden is likely to be up in QLD for 3-6mths before transfer south. We really need your help to reduce the stress of accommodation and travel expenses. Unfortunately Brad will have to return to work in WA eventually so I will be riding solo at times so any help would be appreciated.

As I write this Braden has movement in his right arm and has Touch Sensation in his left arm, feet and tail bone.

Had surgery on Tuesday and they have pined & screwed the breaks, he is still on a ventilator (mouth) but are hoping to move it soon lower. He has done permanent damage to his spine but due to swelling extent unknown yet. Long term will mean we will need to accommodate his disability needs in the home (we will need to move to a single storey) and vehicle etc
