Let’s help Butch Norman and family out!

If you’re a local around Onaway and Millersburg then you have probably heard of or know Butch Norman, his wife Veronica or one of his 3 kids. Butch owns Lou's services in Onaway where he is a master mechanic and loves what he does. The man never takes a day of. Most days he would leave treatment and go back to work.  That’s just how important his customers are to him.  Butch is the type of guy who would give the shirt off his back to someone in need. He would drop what he is doing to help even if he doesn’t know you. He is kind and he is so funny. Anyone who knows Butch knows that his personality will light up any room. Hes an amazing dad, husband, and PAPA and loves his family and friends. In April Butch was diagnosed with colon cancer. On May 24th Butch was rushed in for emergency surgery to save his life, he had part of his colon removed and reattached. In June Butch started chemo, which when you live in Northen Michigan is even harder because the commute to and from the Karmanos cancer institute is not that close.  In the beginning he did those 4 times a week every other week for the first couple months and now he goes Tuesday, Thursday, and Fridays. His last day of treatment is scheduled for the 21st of December. Like I said before Butch  doesn’t take time off but unfortunately, he has been forced to take more time off because the treatment has started to make him sick. It has been financially hard on Butch and Veronica, it took me 2 weeks to get a ok to even do this go fund me page.  Let's pull together as a community to help ease the financial burden this has put on them. Butch is always one to donate, now let's be the first to help them.
