Let’s help Chicos family

We at Meche lost a member of our team, and a bright part of every day at the salon.

Francisco "Chico" Coto Bolanos passed away recently from COVID-19, after a month of battling the disease. Francisco moved to the United States 36 years ago from El Salvador,  and is remembered by his family and friends as a"selfless, humble and loving man." He was a huge fan of futbol/soccer, so much so he didn't have a favorite team--he just enjoyed watching all the teams. He started a team in Los Angeles called Soyapango, named after the city he and his co-founder are from.

We at Meche will also remember Francisco as loving, kind, hard working and playful. As a valet, he was always one of the first people you saw when visiting the salon, and the last you saw when leaving, and he welcomed employees and clients with a smile. When not working at a task, he was often laughing with his friends and co-workers during breaks, and always made room for those around him. He was a good man, and an incredibly nice guy to work with. We wish him peace and will miss him greatly.

During these uncertain times, we hope to help Francisco's family with the costs of his passing, and to give aid in this time of grief as they try to navigate life without him. If you can, please join us by making a donation to this Go Fund Me, and send your condolences to the Bolanos during this sad time.
