Let’s help Chris Soundy

As we all know, our friend and coworker Chris Soundy has been struggling with major health issues over the past couple of months. Sadly, the doctors say that his prognosis is tenuous, at best. There is a 50/50 chance that this aggressive tumor returns.

Many of our brothers and sisters have been working behind the scenes, trying to get Chris’ s house ready for his return. He will need an aide in the home with him,so they have to do a lot of work to get the house ready for Chris’s new life.

Conductors and engineers have been working hard and laying out their own money to get this done for Chris. Let’s help them out by carrying some of the financial burden for them.

If you know Chris, you know that he lives and breathes the LIRR. He started out as a conductor and of course is that block operator that everyone knows, just from the sound of his voice. When you think of PD, you think of Chris.

Please donate what you can to help Chris and our fellow brothers and sisters make a nice place for Chris to come home to. No one is sure how much time Chris will have left, but he deserves a comfortable place to rest his head at night.
