Let's Help Christopher Trouts and Family

My name is Suzanne Tieder and I'm the sister-in-law of Chris Trouts and sister of Melissa Trouts. Chris is near and dear to my heart and very much the brother I never had. We first met during our Drexel days and months later, I introduced him to Melissa - I knew they were meant to be! Like so many, he's touched me with his big heart, fun nature, quick wit, and lovable personality. For those who know Chris, we've been blessed to have an amazing friend and/or colleague to make such a positive difference in our lives.

 

In August of 2020, Chris was diagnosed with stage four colon cancer. His diagnosis came less than two years after his youngest son, Andrew, completed his treatments for stage four Burkitt's Leukemia. Once again, their lives have been turned upside down and they've been faced with unimaginable challenges.

 

Chris has bravely undergone 19 months of aggressive treatments and surgeries. Recently, he made the decision to stop working so he can focus on his well-being and prioritize remaining time with his family. Melissa is also taking a leave from work so she can be by Chris' side day and night. As a result, both are on a reduced income.

 

On behalf of Chris, Melissa, and their three school aged sons, thank you for any contribution you can make. Every bit goes a long way in helping the family pay for everyday essentials and medical care. And thank you for your continued thoughts and prayers! Your ongoing support has been a tremendous, much needed lift to Chris and his family.
