Let's Help Dan Recover

This is Dan McVey, my friend. On the evening of October 17th Dan was riding his motorcycle from Sisters to Bend on an errand . He had slowed down to allow for a vehicle to turn left in front of him when an unlicensed driver plowed into the back of his motorcycle. Dan's motorcycle consequently ended up about 60 feet from the impact into the oncoming traffic and his helmet was broken and flew off his head, landing about 40 feet away. This left Dan with 4 broken ribs, a punctured and collapsed lung and traumatic brain injury. After numerous doctor appointments and tests it has been established that a series of hyperbaric chamber treatments would be very beneficial in helping Dan to recover from his brain injury. Unfortunately, these procedures would not be covered by insurance.

Dan and his wife Kelly, have lived in Sisters for 28 years and have been contributing members of their community. This is difficult for Dan and Kelly to ask for assistance because they are much more comfortable giving than receiving. I know they will be humbled and grateful for your help though. Thank you!
