Dana's Long Haul with COVID-19!

Donation protected

Our beautiful friend, Dana Marie, was one of the very first victims in the Vail Valley to be diagnosed with COVID-19 last Spring.  Dana initially felt better for a few short weeks, but unfortunately began suffering with debilitating symptoms that have yet to subside. After almost a full year of visits to multiple doctors & specialists as well as studies in Denver, Dana has been diagnosed (this week) with pulmonary lung obstructive disease.  She is currently awaiting oxygen as a treatment. We are hoping it will immediately improve her quality of life. Dana is a long time Massage Therapist who has not been able to practice her craft for almost a year, so as a result, the past year has been an extreme struggle financially with housing costs, groceries, utilities, medical costs & beyond. We have increased the donation goal to make sure Dana will not only just catch up, but move forward in a positive way for her health, family and future. We are grateful for those who have already contributed to Dana and her family and appreciate all the assistance yet to come!

Dana and others were featured in the Vail Daily last Saturday, Feb. 6th. Here is the link:  https://www.vaildaily.com/news/eagle-valley/the-long-haul-after-covid-19-infections-some-struggle-with-prolonged-recoveries/
