Let's help get a young boy in the sea

We work with a 10 year old little boy with a life limiting condition that causes progressive muscular degeneration eventually leading to impaired pulmonary function.

Despite already being a full time wheelchair user, this young man loves to be outdoors and particularly in the water as this is where his body feels most free.

We want to buy him a wheelchair that not only allows him to go on the beach, but will actually allow him to go into the sea and enjoy the waves like the other children.

This beach buggy is specially designed to keep him safe whilst tackling all terrains. Not only will it take him over the soft and hard sand, but will safely support him in the sea, keeping him afloat whilst riding the waves.

In addition to the beach, this wheelchair can also be used on most other terrains including the snow and woods, so as well as going to the beach, he could go with his scout group on rambling adventures and explore parts of the world not currently accessible to him.
