"LETS GET PAUL HOME" Fundraiser by FS MAERDY/KAZ CAVA Your friend & mine Angela Davies & husband Paul need our help, they are a very proud couple but as they give so much to others, it would be nice to help them, Angela didn't want this, too proud but I feel we should all do something as a group and beyond to assist them. Paul was rushed to hospital on the 28th October last year ofter collasping & losing all feeling in his legs. He was, after tests, diagnosed with LONGITUDINALLY EXTENSIVE TRANSVERSE MYELITIS This is a Neurological Condition causing inflammatory lesions of the Spinal Cord. Since going into hospital, and rehabilitation, Paul has faced many set backs mentally & physically. He has suffered greatly. If it wasn't for the love of family and freinds, he would have no doubt given up. Paul is now a Paraplegic and has to have his house adapted to enable him to come home. Whilst a grant is available from the Council to cover some of the cost for standard adaptions, unfortunately it does not cover all the changes to support Paul. Due to his condition Paul requires a through the ceiling lift which they have to pay themselves. This is at a cost of £15,000 of which they do not have. This go fund me will go towards the costs of this. Paul & Angela have lived in Ferndale, Rhondda all their lives and are well known in the community & extended communities. Paul, being a former Postman and a popular Sportsman. And his beautiful wife Angela is very popular & always helping others by raising money for charity and giving to your own charities too, including this group in way of many donations to me via foods and items. I'm calling on all their friends, colleges and people who know them, and those that don't know them, to help & to give a contribution, however small to help this wonderful couple be reunited back in their own home. Paul misses being at home & has been in hospital too long and now really needs to be with his wife, children & grandchildren. In their own home. Together as a family should be. But he can't be as he needs this adaption for him to live safely. So if you can help, please share and if you can afford to donate, please do so . Thank you x
