Graeme Juniors story ❤️

September 2022 Graeme begin his journey in law at Edinburgh University, aspiring to go to America for internships & live a dream!

Sadly, in June 2023 Graeme was diagnosed with Ewing Sarcoma, a rare form of bone cancer at just 19 years old. He took a break from university to undergo 14 cycles of intensive chemotherapy & 6 weeks of radiotherapy in Manchester. Graeme was knocked back twice with sepsis but still came back stronger! Finally in February 2024 Graeme rang the bell and was in remission.

I met this beautiful family in September, so full of joy & love. Graeme went back to university to continue his passion of law, just one month into this, October 2024 Graeme had chest pains and presented at ED. The cancer had returned to Graeme’s lungs & could not be cured.

In December he began palliative chemotherapy to prolong his life enabling him to do the things he enjoys most.

Currently, his chemo is shrinking his cancer, but unfortunately it won’t ever go away.

Graeme loves to live life everyday and is so grateful for every single opportunity he is given. His last wish is to visit Australia, something he has always wanted to do but unfortunately health insurance prices are making this challenging.
