Let’s help Greg get an apartment

Hi, my name is Aynsley and I am a local realtor in Fort Lauderdale. I’m sure everyone has seen Greg’s warm smiling face at the bench at Las Olas and Seabreeze on their daily walks or daily commutes to work. Greg is homeless but is very popular and has many friends who stop by to say hi, many people who give him money, food, clothes, or even just a daily chat. Greg is a very sweet man who is literate, loves to talk, and loves to pet any dog. My dog pulls me to him every morning to say hi. Greg is a special man with a good heart. He’s not out doing drugs, he’s not out panhandling. He is a nice, humble human. Nonetheless, he is homeless, and I would love nothing more than to help pay for an apartment for him for a year to help get him on his feet. If I had all the money in the world, I would have already done this for him. I figured if we can all chip in a bit of money, we could really change his life for the better. He deserves it. I know so many other friends of Greg’s (locals) that stop to chat to with him daily, bring him food, clothes, or even just a quick hi. If we all come together, I truly feel like we could change his life for the better. I am raising money in the hopes that I can collect enough to rent him a small apartment (maybe $800/month) for a year. I know if we all pitch in a little, we can do it and we can make a change for the better. We could change his life for the better. Every little bit counts and helps. Let’s do this!
