Let’s Help Guyton, Y’all

Hi y’all. I’ve known Guyton for damn near 20 years. Not only a top notch musician but one of the nicest guys I’ve ever met. Right now he needs us.

Two months ago, excruciating abdominal pain led him to the ER at JPS. After weeks of being bounced around and forced to wait, and ANOTHER trip to the ER (this time Parklend), yesterday he received a formal diagnosis of Jak 2 Mpn, a rare form of blood cancer.

As a working musician, he has been physically unable to perform for some time. As we all know, the bills don’t stop just because we do.

The stress of worrying about rent, car payments etc is weighing heavy on Guyton, which is not where his energy needs to be focused right now. Please, if you can, help give him some reprieve so he can focus on a treatment plan and getting better.
