My name is Shalawn Shai Brown Many of you know me from the community and I deeply appreciate you taking a moment to read my message. I have been no stranger about letting you all know that my heart’s desire is to become a Social Worker and earn a Master of Social Work Degree so I can then pay it forward by giving back to the very community that I serve. I am currently in my last semester at Albany University, and unfortunately, the financial burden of tuition costs has become quite overwhelming. I have exhausted all other avenues, including scholarships and assistance. And, although I continue to look for other options, I write as a formal appeal to you to help with tuition fees so I may complete my last semester. Any monies donated will be used expressly for tuition purposes. I am incredibly grateful for this opportunity that I have been given and I do not take lightly any help I may receive.
