Help Joe Crowley with expenses since his stroke

Hi, our names are Liane and Chad and we are proud to have Joe Crowley as a friend. In September of 2021, Joe had a stroke brought on by a virus in a heart valve. He lost mobility in his left side (he's left handed, unfortunately!) and at first, couldn't walk at all. He then had to undergo open heart surgery to repair the valve. He's been working very hard at physical therapy and rehabilitation, because he doesn't want to be on disability and wants to earn his way. He's a very hard worker, but his job as a diesel engine mechanic is not possible at the moment and he has exhausted his savings and his FMLA money. He hasn't been able to work for a year and he still hasn't been cleared for his old job yet.
