Let's help Josie

To all Knights Beach goers past and present...

As you all know, some of the residents of Knights Beach have suffered the loss of their trailers in the recent fire. One of the trailers that was involved in the fire belongs to Josie Brandle. You may know her as the "spider spray lady".

Josie and her husband Gary, (Mooch) have been at Knights Beach for the last 40 years! Unfortunately, the beloved Mooch passed away over the winter and now she's lost the beautiful placed they shared.

We were all thrilled to see Josie briefly on opening weekend as she was bringing up her personal belongings and getting ready to enjoy another season.

Then tragedy struck and the fires began last Thursday ending in 7 families losing their "happy place"

Due to the age of Josie's trailer, she's not expecting to get much from the insurance company and therefore may not be able to return to her favorite place.
