In his late 20's, Justin began experiencing pain and having difficulty walking. After months of doctor and office visits, a tumor was discovered inside his spinal column and attached to the spinal cord. The tumor was crushing the spinal cord and causing the first stages of paralysis and accelerating quickly.

 

At the age of 30, he underwent an operation to remove the tumor. Unfortunately, there were complications during the operation which have left him with permanent foot drop and other mobility issues.

 

It has been eight years since Justin had surgery and the years have taken some wear on his body. Foot, hip, back and neck pain is constant and quite often affects the ability to leave the house or complete everyday tasks. It has been quite difficult for him to partake in various regular everyday activities. The good news is that there is a solution that can help - a device called C-Brace.

 

The C-Brace is a microprocessor-controlled leg orthosis that responds to everyday movements and situations in real-time. This helps ensure the safety, stability, and confidence in user’s everyday lives. It allows people with paralysis in their legs to walk on uneven terrain, go up and down slopes, inclines, and take stairs one foot at a time, step-by-step.
