Let's help Kamla & her son's get back home

Wow we hit the target to buy train tickets but please still do donate as her home/tent and all her belongings have been burnt so she will be homeless again when she gets back to rajasthan, let's help set her up and her children for a brighter future like she deserves it would be amazing if we could give her a few hundred

Hi my name is Sissy & I have been traveling in Goa with my 8 year old daughter Berry. There is a lot of poverty here and we try and help where we can. I have recently met Kamla & her 2 young sons at the side of the road selling their hand made jewellery. they are there in the blistering sun from 7am till gone 9pm and live on the side of the road in makeshift shack. Kamla is from Ragastan & is a mother to 10 children. She had to leave 8 of her children behind with her sister and come to Goa with the hope of raising funds to provide for her family & to pay off a £50 loan she borrowed to have a c section with her son. The loan person is chasing her and has since burnt down her tent in Rajasthan and threatened to harm one of her daughters. She just needs to make enough money to buy train tickets for the 3 of them to get back home but can't afford to do this as the passing trade where she sells her things is so poor. She struggles to feed her children most days. She is a very humble and caring woman who is just trying to do the best but is struggling right now.

It breaks my heart to see her and the kids there all day making no money and going hungry

When we first met she didn't try and beg or sell me stuff all she asked was if I had any of Berrys old clothing so she could give to her children. We gave her a bag of stuff and some food and got chatting about her situation, hence this go fund me

So now I have till Monday the 18th when I leave goa to try and help her so time is of the essence!!

If you could spare a few pounds it would mean the world to her and her family and help get her back home where she belongs.

If we raise above the initial total she can buy herself a new tent to live in when she gets back home and will be able to feed her children and pay off her debt for the c section. Your money will go a long way in her life
