Let's Help Kennah Beat Cancer... AGAIN!

Hello all. On behalf of Kennah Orr Gervais, I am creating a fundraising account to help with expenses that Kennah will face as she moves forward with her plan of care and beating cervical cancer for the 2nd time!

 

In April of 2020, Kennah was diagnosed with cervical cancer at the young age of 27. Kennah is a daughter, mother, sister, wife, and an amazing friend to her people! Kennah has faced multiple surgeries, multiple rounds of chemo and radiation but this time around, an invasive, life-changing surgery is her ONLY OPTION to move forward cancer free.

 

If you know Kennah, you would know she a fighter and truly the best momma to her the light of her life, Kylar. She has impressed us all with her strength and no B.S. mentality as she has continued to fight for her life.

 

Prior to this horrible disease becoming a chapter of Kennah’s life story, Kennah played softball for more than half of her life so you could say she has a competitive soul to whoop cancer’s butt! Kennah is softball alum of FIU and was the assistant softball coach at Webber International for 3 seasons. Kennah’s passion is softball, and we all are determined to get her back on the clay, coaching and mentoring ladies because that is what she was born to do!

 

Unfortunately, the surgery that Kennah will have to partake in is a very rare surgery. Due to this, Kennah will most likely be traveling to NYC to for surgery and recovering for an unknown amount of time. With that being said, we (her family) are in the process of planning living expenses for her time there, flights for travel for her and Kylar, food, medical bills, as well as her normal day-to day living expenses at home.

 

Kennah is not much of a worrier, she deals with the cards she has been dealt every single day and takes it on like a true survivor of this awful disease. This time around, we are truly trying to raise as much money as possible to help lift any burden of the costs listed above so she can continue to focus on healing and recovery to move forward CANCER FREE!

 

Any amount donated will be a blessing to Kennah. If you are unable to donate, we ask that you share her story and this link so we can get the word out to as many people as possible.

 

We also ask for you to lift Kennah, her doctors, family, and friends in your prayers. Add her to any prayer chain, prayer group, church… we appreciate it more than you will ever know. We may be unsure why God has chosen Kennah for this, but we are NOT unsure that He has her back and will continue to be the strength that she will need moving forward.
