Let's Help Kyle Minnick !!!

Hi ,

My  name is Teressa Preston. I'm doing this fundraiser for my friend Kyle and his family. If you know Kyle, you know that he is an amazing person. Not only is he is a police officer, he is a husband and a dad. Kyle is very sick with COVID. Kyle is a young , healthy and active person until this illness has taken him down. He and his wife Laura are very faithful and they know that Jesus will heal Kyle and that this is just a bump in the road for their family. With that said they will need our help. Please help Kyle out just like he would help you out.

On August 11th, my heart and love, Kyle Minnick, was admitted to Waynesboro Hospital with the diagnosis of COVID-19 and pneumonia. His condition worsened and on August 17th, he was intubated and flown to York Hospital. He was put on an ECMO machine on August 18th and since has made good progress to the point of being taken off ECMO on September 4th. I am thankful for all the prayers and love that have surrounded us and celebrate the prayers God has answered to this point. I continue to trust Him while asking for everyone to keep lifting Kyle in prayer for ongoing healing to wean back off the ventilator and come back home to all his family and friends.

The heart I fell in love with so many years ago is the same heart Kyle has always led with the majority of his life to protect and serve the communities he has volunteered and worked in. The impact he has had and the numerous lives he has touched have grown a tribe and family around us that truly reflects the love and family of God. I cannot wait for the day he is back home and strong enough to continue in the same way again pouring into others.

The severity of Kyle’s illness was not what we would have ever expected, but I remain firm in my faith that God is using this to work out an even better purpose and path for His glory. “What is intended for harm, God will use for good.”

The road to full recovery will take time and how long Kyle’s income will be reduced and the amount of medical bills is still unknown. I know God will continue to provide for our needs as we have always been blessed with His provision. This outlet for donations has been created for those who have felt led to help with offsetting the unexpected financial impacts that have arisen from the unexpected illness. Please know from the bottom of my heart and I know Kyle’s too, we are deeply moved and thankful for any support and love that has been shown as we both prefer to pour out over being poured into. Thank you all and I pray God’s blessing for each and every person that has been or will be touched by my husband’s heart over the years.
