Hello everyone! Some of you may know me as the mischievous but lovable sandwich chef at Laney's cupcakes and gourmet sandwiches the past few years. When you work in a small business you get to see a side of things customers rarely see. You see the bills, the struggle and the satifaction when you can sit back at the end of a long day and say you did it. To even begin to describe the year my girl Laney has been through would take so much time, but a good portion is on the Laney's Facebook page (link below) if you want the details. Let's just say it has been trying. On top of life and children, I moved from Enid to Germany. Laney's was my family while in Oklahoma. The food was something unique in Enid that was delicious and wholesome. Her sweets were made with love and eating her cookies took you back to grandma's kitchen they were so good! Through the years I got to watch genius at work as Laney came up with new recipes and ideas for future endeavours. While the shop was the main focus at the time, Laney always dreamed of one day owning a food truck that she could take anywhere in the country! With the hardships Laney has faced in the past months, she has had to choose her family over her shop and close. As someone who lived in Enid I know how hard quality food can be to keep around! Let all of us Laney's Lovers come together to boost the spirits of her family and give a hand up in starting on a new adventure!
