Help Louise start rolling

- Hello, Louise was a healthy, happy and full of life, until she was in an accident a few years ago, where she was run over and has had several surgeries and skin grafts done to repair the damage as much as possible, still a very painful reality, having to have wound care and dressing changes and medication plus arthritis in both her knee’s makes walking or even standing a increasingly difficult task.
- This is the scooter that would work best for Louise.
- That being said, she was unable to work for a long time, having to be bed and house bound unable to stand on her feet. After returning to working she had to change jobs a few times when she became unable to preform her duties properly with her constant pain and debilitations.
- You would think all this would lead Louise to become irritable and dissatisfied with life, But no she is the sweetest person you'll ever have the pleasure to meet.
- Louise has been locked down in quarantine like the rest of us only much longer and harder on her as she can not walk on her own or go Anywhere, even the doctors office without the help of others, think about that a second, you still have to be able to get groceries, be able to prepare them, clean your kitchen afterwards, how about the bathroom, how do you clean when you can't stand on your legs or bend your knees.
- How do you take a shower when standing causes such excruciating pain? She needs a shower chair to clean up safely.
- A scooter is a really good way for Louise to get mobile, she rented one to go to a Super-natural convention (thanks to a Christmas gift), and was amazed how well she got around, and feeling so free.
- Just think how that must have improved her all around mental health. Just being able to move without the aid of another person. Louise was so excited about the mobility scooter and when Louise talked to me about it, sadly she became distraught thinking she would have to remain house bound. Louise has gained a lot of weight with being unable to move about on her own and she lives alone, she really NEEDS to get out and be independent.
- Also she can not get on the bus, so if she could take the scooter to the store for minor trips and be able to indulge in conversations and normal social activities, what a healthy starting point this would be.
- Every 5 Pound or 5 Dollar would help this delightful lady become healthier and independent. Give anything you can, even 5 dollar or 5 pound would be a blessing.
- Please donate what you can and share this amazing ladies story of need - to help Louise get rolling.
