Help Mackenzie in her fight

My name is Julie Lafferty and I am starting this GoFundMe for Mackenzie Dykstra, the daughter of my dear friend Christine Kelso, and their family. Earlier this month Mackenzie was diagnosed with a Grade 4 Glioma Brain Tumor. On Wednesday, June 21st, she underwent a 10 hour surgery at Lucille Packard Medical Center in Stanford to remove as much of the tumor as possible. Now the real work begins. In two weeks Mackenzie will begin a six week, five days a week course of chemotherapy and radiation treatments at Stanford. Mackenzie attends Carmel High School, she loves to play volleyball and is an excellent student. She is ready for this battle - she walked out of the hospital 72 hours after a 10 hour brain surgery. We are all amazed at her strength and fortitude. Christine has continued to work and service her clients at Chicago Title Company during this stressful time. I am so proud to be her co-worker and friend. The money raised here will go to help the family with medical expenses and travel costs, and will hopefully take some of the financial stress off their plate.
