Mallory, Boca and Bristol need our help!

Hey Everyone!

As many of you know Mallory has not one but two very sick pups. Bristol was diagnosed with aggressive bone cancer on May 23rd when she went to the vet with a broken Tibia. Her 12th birthday was at the beginning of May and with her age, they are keeping her comfortable with pain meds and she seems to be in good spirits. Mallory and Bristol are spending lots of quality time together as she knows the cancer is aggressive and her days are numbered.

Boca who we all know is Bristol’s 5-year-old sister…..started not feeling well 48 hours after Bristol had received her diagnosis. After many vet trips to her local vet and the emergency vet, they diagnosed Boca with pancreatitis. She just continued to decline and began to have breathing trouble. After scans, they realized she was full of fluid and also had contracted pneumonia. With the ongoing pancreatitis paired with pneumonia, she has to be on oxygen and fed through a feeding tube. She has been hospitalized at the emergency vet since Thursday, June 1st. She is currently on blood pressure meds and has received plasma transfusions.

Very early on Friday, June 2, Mallory received a call to come quickly to say her goodbyes as they could not stabilize Boca and her blood pressure and levels were continuing to drop. Mallory reached out to many and has asked for our prayers and positive thoughts and it seems to be working. Boca has been making small improvements each day. Mallory has been staying close by with her wonderful friends Christina and Zack and she has been visiting Boca as often as they will let her in, even taking her big sister Bristol by to see her and lift her spirits.

Let's help our sweet friend get through this difficult time. She needs our prayers and if you can help by donating I know this will help her handle these growing medical expenses as both of these pups still have a long road ahead.
