Let's help Melanie get her CRPS in remission!

Hi,

My name is Valerie; I'm raising money to help Melanie get treatment for her Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS). Although there is no cure, we have found a clinic that can put this painful disease in remission. If you know Melanie, she is a single mom who has worked her ass off to have the life she was able to give her kids. Since being diagnosed, she has been unable to do her daily routine because of her pain. This has been a long & expensive process to get a diagnosis. I know that Melanie is a giving, loving & supportive person to anyone who needs her. Now she needs us! Please, anything helps.

Let me share with you a bit of her condition. Complex regional pain syndrome (CRPS) is a chronic neurological condition involving the limbs characterized by severe pain and sensory, autonomic, motor and trophic impairment. The exact cause of complex regional pain syndrome isn’t well understood but may involve abnormal inflammation or nerve dysfunction. Typically, CRPS is a permanent disabling as there is no cure. The donations will help pay for Melanie's treatment center, flight, hotel, rental car & food while receiving treatment in Idaho. She will be there for several weeks for an intense remission process. She has already spent almost 20k on out-of-pocket expenses, co-pays, travel, and medical supplies. She also has a wound on her leg that is the limb affected by CRPS that will not heal and is now unable to walk more than a few steps unassisted.
