Let’s help Merle Kidwell fight stage 4 cancer

What comes to mind when you think of Merle and Mandy Kidwell? Loyalty.

This couple is loyal to each other, loyal to their family, loyal to their friends, and loyal to their city. You may have met Merle at any number of local sports games he’s attended, coached, written articles about, and commentated on. Theres nowhere in the world he’d rather be. He is PROUD to be from the tri-state! If you didn’t meet Merle first, then you met Mandy. The first person you call if something isn’t going well in your life; ready to raise money for your cause, help you move or paint or heal your children or hold your hand while you cry.

They have one spunky daughter together, Selah, and Merle has 2 kids from a previous marriage, Kate and Carson, who Mandy refers to as her bonus kids.

Merle was recently diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer. They found a 10cm mass in his colon and it has spread to his lymph nodes and his liver. He is seeking medical treatment outside of insurance coverage. Each 3 week treatment is 51,500. This is all inclusive..lodging, food, therapy, treatment. Merle will also be unable to work while under treatment. 

He needs us. He needs us to come together like the community he knows and loves. One person probably cannot achieve this number alone, but if we all give what we can, we can give back in the BIGGEST WAY to the Kidwells. We can give Merle a chance at life.
