Fighting Stage 4 Cancer with Nayna

**UPDATE** (3-20-24)

The fight is still on and the struggle is real. Nayna is currently on weekly chemo infusions and Keytruda immunotherapy is added every 3 weeks. She is also getting scans every 3 months to check for progression. All of these things are costly and with her amazing husband being the only one working, it's impossible to cover all the medical bills (hers and his) and keep a roof over their head. And that's why we are here, to help.

**UPDATE** ( 7/16/23)

If you have seen updates from Nayna or her husband Dana, you know that her fight has unfortunately gotten harder. After finding cancer had spread to her lungs in Feb and having that lobe removed, she has had to return to iv chemo weekly and the addition of immunotherapy in hopes of killing any rogue cells and keeping any new cancer at bay. She is now considered Stage 4.

Triple Negative Breast Cancer is known to be the most aggressive, hardest to treat and most likely to return. Stage 4 TNBC with metastasis to the lungs has not only been a tough fight on her physically, but mentally, emotionally and financially as well. You can not imagine the co-pays or the growing mountain of bills. It's even harder when there is only one income and an insurance company they have to fight with for everything.

In light of all Nayna and her husband are facing, I have raised the original goal. So many of you have donated already and I assure you, Nayna and her family are truly grateful. Please consider sharing with others and helping Nayna continue get the treatment she needs.

**UPDATE**

Nayna's fight still continues. Unfortunately, it has been recommended that she have 3 more cycles of chemo to give her the best possible outcome and lesson her chance of reoccurance. However, she is in need of a few procedures to make sure cancer has not spread already. What's worse, their deductible starts over in January.

If you can, please help. Every dollar already donated has already gone to medical costs and critical bills.

Any amount is more than they currently have and it all adds up. And even if you can’t donate, sharing this post helps get the word out to a wider circle of those who might be able to.
