Medical help for Nicky Barnes

Dear Friends and Family,

Nicky has stage four metastatic lung cancer which has spread to her bones; specifically her pelvis, her upper femurs and her spine. The bone cancer has given her the most chronic pain which as friends watching, is really quite upsetting to see.

She is very young to get lung cancer. And because of this, and the fact that otherwise she is fit and healthy, her doctors are optimistic she will overcome this. But, it will be a fight, and if any of you know Barnes, you know she’s a fighter.

She will be in chemo and immunotherapy this whole year which of course means she cannot work and has no means of earning an income. This is why we have, on her behalf, decided to reach out and see if we can raise the funds to pay for the additional professional medical care she needs at home.

Thank you for any help you can offer. It's very quiet on the streets without Nicky's raucous laugh and big gorgeous smile, so grateful for anything you can do.
