Let’s Help Ohoud and Khaled Reopen Fez, Turkish Meze
Donation protected
Fez, Turkish Meze was a small, family-run restaurant in Mamaroneck. After the onset of Covid, the owners, Ohoud and Khaled Dass, had to change the course of their business. Instead of operating as a restaurant, they became a Middle Eastern supermarket and only served takeout food. With one exception: once a week, they invited those people in need of food to come to their store for a free meal to take home.
Throughout times that put many hardworking entrepreneurs out of business, these incredibly generous people managed to stay afloat, but barely.
That is until their son was diagnosed with lymphoma. Since that time, only one of them could be in their store at a time, and they were unable to gather the resources to reopen their unique restaurant.
Which is where you come in.
Funds are desperately needed to reopen their restaurant both with additional staff and modernized equipment. They need to restructure their website, make outside repairs, and pay enormous debts.
Please consider making a generous donation to keep this restaurant afloat. I know nothing I personally can do would ever match their extreme kindness and generosity.
Please spread this request as widely as you can.
Thank you.
