Let's help our great friends Yolanda & Fulvio!

Hi, we are part of the beautiful community at St Mark Catholic Church in SouthWest Ranches and we are fundraising for our dear friends going through a very difficult time.

Our good friends, Yolanda Landi and her husband, Fulvio, need our help.

Yolanda was diagnosed with Metastatic Ovarian Cancer stage IV in October 2021. For the past year and a half Yolanda has been through intensive chemotherapy treatments followed by several surgeries, ending in the partial removal of her colon and depending on an Ostomy procedure.

As everyone knows, Yolanda and Fulvio are usually not the ones who seek help. Instead, they have always been the ones who help others. Our friends have been reluctant to ask for financial help, but now they admit the financial costs are beginning to stack up since Fulvio had to stop working to take full care of Yolanda. Since the need is only increasing with time, they reluctantly have given the OK to set this up. Examples of how your contributions will be used are medications (Ostomy daily replacement parts because the amount the insurance provides is not enough), treatments, expenses that the insurance will not cover, utility bills, groceries and gas.

Yolanda and Fulvio are loyal friends and have dedicated their lives to helping others. If you’ve been blessed to know them, they likely have helped you in some way - maybe by lending a helping hand or at an Emmaus Retreat which they have been part of for the past 15 years at St. Mark Catholic Church. Yolanda & Fulvio have also dedicated their time to helping the Homeless Outreach Center as well as The Immigrants communities located at Pahokee.

PLEASE consider donating to this cause if you can. Yolanda and Fulvio have embarked on their most difficult journey and need our help & prayers…and it’s our turn to give back to them!

Queridos amigos!

Yolanda y Fulvio Landi necesitan de nuestra ayuda.

Yolanda fué diagnosticada con Cancer de Ovario etapa IV Metastatico desde Octubre 2021. Desde entonces, Yolanda ha luchado con las consecuencias de diferentes tratamientos de quimioterapia muy agresiva y de varias cirugias que resultaron en la remocion parcial de su colon y la implementacion de un procedimiento de Ostomia.

Como muchos saben, Yolanda y Fulvio son personas que nunca han solicitado ayuda. Al contrario, siempre han sido los que ayudan a todos en cualquier necesidad. Hasta el momento se habian abstenido de solicitar ayuda, pero ahora debido a lo grave, largo y costoso de este proceso, se ven en la necesidad de aceptar ayuda financiera ya que Fulvio se vió obligado a dejar su trabajo para cuidar de su amada esposa a tiempo completo. Los fondos recaudados serán destinados a cubrir necesidades básicas que su limitado seguro de salud no cubre del todo, tales como medicamentos, suplementos diarios necesarios para la Ostomia, tratamientos medicos y otros del diario vivir como alimentación, gasolina y cuidado personal.

Yolanda y Fulvio han sido los mejores amigos y han dedicado su vida al servicio de la comunidad. Si han tenido la fortuna y bendicion de conocerlos, entonces han tenido la oportunidad de recibir su ayuda de alguna manera o inclusive durante algun retiro de Emmaus o en sus campañas de cestas navideñas para los màs necesitados @ the homeless Outreach center. Durante los últimos 15 años, han pertenecido a la congregación de la Iglesia Catolica de St. Mark, donde siempre estuvieron dispuestos a brindar apoyo. Ademas, Fulvio y Yolanda han dedicado parte de su vida a la comunidad de Inmigrantes del campo de la ciudad de Pahokee. Por favor consideren contribuir a esta causa. Yolanda y Fulvio se encuentran en una larga batalla y es nuestra oportunidad de retribuirles.
