Let's help Sterling get to the Holy Land!

About Sterling:

This is a gofundme page for our dear friend Sterling Alavache. Sterling is a father of 3 beautiful children, two boys and one daughter. The thing about Sterling is he is not just your average Joe, he's a kind and loving soul who can brighten up any room he walks into (can't forget to mention his beautiful curls lol). Since Sterling got sober (July 31st will be 2 years) he has made a huge impact in the recovery community here in Charlotte County and continues to do so.

Current Situation:

As most of you may have already heard, he recently spent several weeks in the hospital between Port Charlotte and Tampa hospitals. While there he finally received a diagnosis of Advanced Stage Multiple Sclerosis.

Most people faced with this diagnosis would feel devastated, but not our Sterling. He's taken on this challenge and made a pledge to do whatever he can to help other people who are in the same position or may be in the future. While Sterling was in the hospital the Doctors told him that there was no guarantee on how long he would have his current physical ability and that if there was anything he absolutely wanted to do or see that now would be the time to do it. Sterling didn't have to think hard about this question, he already knew he had always wanted to visit the Holy Land also known as Israel. We all know Sterling as a man of faith and he has never been shy to express this.

 

So I'm asking us all to come together and raise money so we can make his dream come true while there is still time. Any amount of money will be much appreciated. (expenses include plane tickets, hotel, food, activities etc.) If you are unable to give don't  worry knowing Sterling a simple prayer would mean the world to him.

Lets give Sterling a trip of a LIFETIME!
