Let's help support the McCollum family

After being diagnosed in November 2012 with Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma, Danny was able to undergo six months of chemotherapy and was declared in remission in May 2013. The prognosis was good, and he was looking forward to a bright future.

Fast forward to November 2021. Danny started having back, and right should pain that eventually became unbearable and landed him in the ER last month. After undergoing several tests and procedures, he was sadly referred back to an oncologist.

This week Danny was diagnosed with Stage 4 Neuroendocrine Cancer, which they believe started in his pancreas. The cancer has now spread to his liver, spinal cord, ribs, and skull. Although there is no cure for this cancer, ultimately making it terminal, treatments are available. The treatments are designed to help restore his quality of life and hopefully add months and possibly years to his life.

At 45 years old most people are watching their family grow and looking forward to the next milestone, whether that be a graduation, a wedding, the birth of a new grandchild, or even the next family BBQ or sporting event. With this diagnosis, Danny is being forced to fit all the memories he can into a minimal amount of time. His wife Lindsey and two daughters, Kiley, 13 and Kadence 9, are devastated but are determined to make the most out of the time they have left with him.

We hope to raise enough to help with medical bills, time off work, prescription and medical costs, and hopefully have a little leftover for them to take a family vacation this summer. He wants to give his beautiful family some fantastic memories that they can hold on to forever.
