Let's Help The D'argenio's to Recover From Ian

Hi everyone!

I am here to ask if you could help my dear friends Grazia, Antonio D'Argenio and their 4 children.

The D'Argenio family, like many of us in Southwest Florida, has been affected by Hurricane Ian. They are a wonderful family of six with two cats and a dog. They moved from Italy 4 years ago and have no relatives in the United States. Active in the community and always ready to help when someone needs help. Antonio volunteers at the YMCA as a soccer coach and is a scout helper.

Hurricane Ian severely damaged their house, and they could not live in it anymore. The Roof was severely damaged, causing the ceiling to collapse in the master bedroom, causing the whole place to flood. Grazia and Antonio were left with only their clothes in their bags. To make matters worse, lighting struck their house to short circuit and had a small fire.

The aftermath is a nightmare. I helped the D'Argenio's to pack whatever was salvageble and put it in storage until repairs could be made. Their insurance has been a nightmare, it has been a month, and nothing has been done yet. They have not seen not even a dime yet. Everything they have done until now was out of their own pockets, exhausting the little funds they had.

For now, they live in a vacation rental until November 7. but after that date, they have nowhere to go and no funds to secure a place.

To make matters worse short-term rentals are extremely expensive in Venice, where their children go to school, and they need a place for at least two to three months until their insurance will finally pay out and their house is repaired.

If you could please help them to secure a rental and meet insurance copays, I would really appreciate it; please don't let this family sleep in a car; they are already going through a lot. Every little helps!
