Let’s help the Pennington Family!

Blake and Kristen Pennington met while attending Liberty University where they began their relationship and later married in 2012. Over the years, they've added three beautiful children to their family, Opal (4), Ari (2), and Asa (6 months). They currently reside in Lawrenceville, Georgia.

Over the past year, Blake has been struggling with some serious health issues that have become debilitating to the point where he is no longer able to work and is currently hospitalized. It was recently determined that he has been battling Lyme's Disease for most of his life and has had some serious neurological symptoms. Kristen has also tested positive for the disease but is not yet showing symptoms, and the doctor has recommended that she start treatments next month and all three children be tested as well. In addition to their struggle with Lyme's Disease, Blake has also been diagnosed with Barium poisoning. He's being treated at The Genesis Center in Cumming, Georgia. 

Needless to say, with no work and no income currently, they are in extreme financial crisis. I am asking for anyone who is willing, to donate towards raising $10,000 to help with the following:

Monthly Living Costs
After speaking with Kristen, she calculated that they would need around $2,500 per month to cover basic living expenses. I would like to try to raise enough to support her for at least 2 months.

Medical Treatment
Kristen has been advised to begin treatments at the Genesis Center next month, which will cost $4,000. Her children also need to be tested for Lyme's Disease, each test being $340. 

Additional Practical Needs
If you or someone else you know would like to know how to help practically, below are some areas you could help:

-Diapers and Wipes. They have two children in diapers currently. Ari wears size 5-6 and Asa wears size 2-3. 

-Grocery/Gift Cards to Costco, Wal-mart, Publix, Kroger, etc. Gas cards would also be helpful!

On her behalf, I am incredibly grateful to anyone who is willing to help support her during this incredibly difficult season of life. She has been so strong as she cares for her husband along with her three small kids, trying to provide, and now being faced with this disease herself.
