Let's help this family and new born

Hi my name is Helmut Calderon, I decided to open this account in order to support a colleague at work.

In the last 2 months, unfortunately he has missed work a lot, due to the fact that his wife has had many inconvenients with her pregnancy.

Unfortunately, he is new in the company and for such reason the benefits do not apply to him or his family yet (he has been in the company less than 6 months), so my intention is to try to help him by organizing a Go Fund Me, where I know many people will provide a little bet of help to cover all the expenses he currently has for skipping so many days of work and not getting pay. I requested him authorization to do this, and had requested him as well to provide a brief explanation of what happened, so people can understand their situation and also his bank details so all funds goes automatically to him and his family. He is a great worker and an awesome father and he deserve some help during this difficult time!!!

"Hey guys I currently moved to Orlando with my wife and daughter. I started to work at Fresenius (overnight shift) and everything was going perfect. Then, we found out she was pregnant when she was 3 months pregnant and from then it’s been difficult. At 17 weeks pregnant we found out she had a placenta previa (when the placenta is partially or fully covering the cervix) with clots which was causing her to bleed and for weeks she was bleeding and cramping everyday which caused me to miss work several times because we had to go to hospital to make sure the babe was alright and to make sure her placenta was not detaching.

At her 19 week doctor appointment we found out that her placenta had begun to detach but it was not serious yet or nothing to be concerned, said the doctors.

At 22 weeks she was home folding clothes when she felt gushes of blood. I brought her in to the hospital and they admitted her as an urgent matter.

Unfortunately, for more tha a week I missed work again, because I didn’t had anybody to watch our 1 year old daughter. The hospital finally discharged her and she came back home. By the 24 weeks, due to passing really concerning clots and uncontrollable bleeding, we went back to the hospital again, so they kept her overnight and told her the next day she needed a blood transfusion. While having a blood transfusion she started having severe back pain to which they told her she was going to have an emergency c-section due to the placenta detaching.

At 24weeks and 5 days we welcomed our miracle baby weighing 1lb and 1.5 ounces. She’s currently in the nicu where she’s receiving treatment for being a micro preemie. My wife and I were home fighting off some type of infection, which caused me to miss almost a month of work.

Besides all this, we have been at the hospital, as they found a bruise on the baby's spine, so at hospital they don't know why she present this, and unfortunately she can't move her hands. Hospital also said her neck swollen and back of her head all of a sudden, so another problem just rise and many tests needs to be done to the baby to determine what happened and who at the hospital is responsible for this situation, as baby was perfect and moving ; now nobody knows why the baby is not moving her hands and presents those bruices!!!

So we are asking for your help. Anything no matter the amount we would be grateful for it."
