Lets help this family through this difficult time
Donation protected
We have set up this fundraiser for a young girl in the community going through a very overwhelming medical mystery. We ask that you take the time to read her story, and if you can't afford to donate, that you keep Bella in your thoughts and prayers and send all positive energy to her in Cheo.
Isabella is a 13-year-old young lady who tore her ACL during Soccer. She underwent surgery in October at Kingston General Hospital, and although the surgery was successful, Bella was unable to wake up from the Anesthesia. Bella was given Narcan to help bring her out of the anesthetic and slowly regained consciousness. She was dazed and confused and her health progressively worsened. Bella had trouble speaking and walking, and eventually, she couldn't eat or else she would choke, causing her to be on a feeding tube. Without being able to perform the basics, Bella resides at Cheo where her mother and father are swapping each other each week to be by her side because she cannot have both parents with her due to Covid-19 restrictions. Bellas mother Yanet has had to take an extended leave of absence from work to be by her side while her dad Trevor, has been commuting from Ottawa to Kingston for work trying to keep the bills paid. The doctors at Cheo have no idea what has happened to Bella and are working diligently to get to the bottom of it. With no timeline insight, and still so many tests to be done, we know that Bella will need a wheelchair and help with all tasks when returned home.
Thank you for taking the time to read Bella's story. If you are able to donate to help this family in need it is so appreciated. If unable to donate, please share this story and let's try and take some stress away from this strong, beautiful family.
Sending all my prayers your way Bella, stay strong, you got this!
