Help Vicky Wade With Flood Recovery Costs
Donation protected
Hi, this is Lynn… I’ve never done this before but there’s a first time for everything. A dear friend who is always there for everyone, always a giver and never a taker, came home from work on Monday January 22, 2024 after a day of record breaking torrential rains in San Diego County, to find her home flooded in over 2 feet of water, debris and mud. This happened to her through no fault of her own. She’s diligent about maintaining her own house and property, but sadly a neighboring property owner was not.
This is the home she’s living and raising her grandchildren in, the home where she’s fostered over 230 rescue dogs and puppies. We’d like to help her while she navigates the difficulties of cleanup and repairs, which could drag on for a while. She didn’t have flood insurance and may or may not be able to recover costs. She’s met with adjusters and remediation specialists, but there are immediate out of pocket day to day needs that have to be met. Dumpsters, laundromat, cleaning supplies, and the list goes on. Furniture and appliances, flooring and drywall will need to be replaced as well.
Please consider donating to help Vicky and her family get back on their feet. Together I’m sure we can ease some of her burden. Thank you
