Let’s help Zach get back on his feet

Hello, my name is Tabitha.   

Last Wednesday, my brother Zach had a stroke. He’s been sick and we thought it was the flu or Covid. My mom thought it would be a good idea to take him some soup and 7-up. So We cautiously set the soup inside the front door and kept distance from what we thought was contagious. He later reached out explaining that he had hallucinated a conversation with our mom about coming over to see him the day prior, we thought that was odd. He continued to say he had a bad fever, a horrible headache, it was hard to walk, and he was really nauseous. 

The next day he reached out to our dad asking for him to take him to the urgent care because he wasn’t feeling any better. Thankfully the urgent care doctor told him he needed to go to the ER. After being seen at the ER and having 2 CT scans his diagnosis was a blood clot at the base of his brain. His brain is swelling in the worst spot.  Zach has been in the ICU awaiting possible brain surgery. So far, the left side of his body has been affected from the trauma. Cognitively, he is doing okay but doctors have no idea yet why the blood clot developed and are working on figuring it out. This is extremely rare for his age considering he did not have any prior trauma accidents to cause it. As of right now we do not know what the future holds. Please send prayers and thoughts to Zach and our family at this time.

Im setting up this go fund me in hopes that we can relieve some stress from bills he currently has and the ones that are inevitably pending.
