Let’s Launch Candy Paint!

Hello all!
My name is Teyzia Simmons, I’m a Cambridge native currently living in Watertown looking to launch my storefront. I have been servicing nail clients on a small scale, but due to the increase in demand I’m looking to expand my business and open a location to serve the broader community. I’ve looked at a space that I believe would be an ideal location, especially for a black woman owned business in Watertown. The property management has expressed great interest business plan, and now I need the financial backing. I am currently looking for any support with fundraising for startup costs.
Here’s some background information about my business:
Candy Paint is a modern and unique, black owned nail salon located in Watertown, MA.
Offering the latest in nail technology, as well as the most trendy nail designs, Candy Paint has a competitive edge not only in Watertown, but in the Greater Boston area. Candy Paint prioritizes natural nail care and mostly uses gel products, offering services such as: Russian manicures, soft and hard gel manicures, pedicures, gel extensions, and a wide variety of creative nail art. Candy Paint prides itself on luxurious pampering services at a competitive price.

Small businesses are imperative when trying to build and uphold a community. As these larger apartment/shopping developments have been appearing locally, there has been a huge lack of small business, and black owned business representation. I’d love to continue to service the Watertown community, and I believe that local support can make this plan come to fruition.
Thank you so much!
