I'm Michael Bagley, the Reform UK Prospective Parliamentary Candidate for the South Devon Constituency. This means that my goal is to be elected at the next general election as Member of Parliament for the constituency.
The problem
14 years of Tory rule has left this wonderful country in a mess. The NHS is broken, the police paint their cars rainbow colours and arrest virtually no one, and astronomic energy prices, as well as Net-zero, are driving us into poverty. Wokeism and identity politics have infected our culture to such an extent that you stand little chance of getting a job in many public, and even private, institutions unless you're female, gay or an ethnic minority. Thousands of people (not just Nigel Farage) are having their bank accounts cancelled, simply because their 'values' don't align with those of the bank.
Some if the things Reform will do
- lower taxes, for individuals and companies, to create demand, stimulate growth and increase tax revenue.
- eliminate so-called 'green' taxes (£50 billion a year) and cancel the crazy rush towards Net-zero
- reform the NHS
- become energy independent by fracking for gas, developing nuclear power stations and granting new oil and gas drilling licenses for the North Sea
- bring back freedom of speech
Why we need funds to do this in Devon South?
Reform is very far from being a wealthy party and getting the message out to the people of South Devon requires funds. We need to: buy and distribute leaflets, furnish and support street stalls, book rooms for meetings and a score of other things. And we need to travel across the constituency, which is vast, stretching from the foothills of Dartmoor in the north to the cliffs of Prawle in the south; from the River Erme in the west, to Brixham in the east!
So, if you believe in our cause, any contribution you can make, however small, would be much appreciated. And please visit my Facebook page - https://www.facebook.com/reformuk.southdevon/
Thank you.
