Cory was arrested yesterday doing the very thing we celebrated him for... giving out drinks on the median... Obstruction of Public Streets. Our community wants him OUT! We are taking donations for his $250 bail. We already have $100 between a few of us. When we reach the $250 mark, we will go personally get him out.
If you've ever had the pleasure of meeting Corey, the friendly guy giving out drinks at the red light at Bloomingdale & Providence, then you know why we want to give back to him!
In a world full of constant negativity, Corey shines a light that will change your entire day. His positive attitude is contagious. We need more people like him!
Rumor has it that his parents passed away and he dedicates his free time to making the community smile, in honor of them!
Help us pay it forward to someone who CONSTANTLY pays it forward! We are going to surprise Corey with donations from the community for Christmas! We will post updates in Next Door! Thank you to everyone who donates I hope it makes his entire year. I will also print out the entire thread from Next Door and put in his card so he knows how much he has touched so many different people and and that he is LOVED BY MANY!
