Let’s make this sweet boy smile.

Update on Milo, he has been very sick with sepsis and fluid overload, he is just now coming out of it. This sweet boy has been through it, and I want to help him as much as we can, so please, anything helps! Hi, my name is Andrea, I’ve known Bri Sargent and her family a long time, Milo is Bri’s youngest and has been diagnosed with neuroblastoma, it’s a pediatric type of cancer. Milo has already undergone so much for only being 4, and still has such a long way to go. Milo's particular type of cancer is a tumor on his adrenal gland. Doctors thought his tumor could be removed, but after doing surgery Doctors saw that it had blood vessels connecting to the pancreas and colon. 2 years of treatments, including aggressive chemo, a feeding tube, two stem cell transplants (hospital stays will be indefinite for long periods of time), Milo will have to undergo surgery to remove the tumor once it becomes small enough, and radiation not in addition to the chemo and radiation side effects. The medications that Milo will be on will cause him to lose his hearing and not be able to have children. Milo has already had two big surgeries where he's needed to be cut open. He's also already done a“ harvest" where they had to take his stem cells and two bone marrow biopsies. Bri can’t work because of the chemo, the tests and everything this sweet boy has been going through, not to mention Milo wants his mom with him at all times. Milo’s 5th birthday is this Monday the 24th and no child should have to spend it sick or in the hospital.
